Bringing a new definition of versatility to portable hardness testing, the Phase II PHT-2000 has the ability to utilize both an internal(integrated) and (optional) external probes. This permits portable hardness testing on various applications, a decided advantage over other “integrated probe” portable hardness testers on the market today.
Its compact size, high accuracy and wide measuring range establish this portable hardness tester as ideally suited for testing all types of metals in various environments.
This portable hardness tester combines the universal impact device “D” and a data processor in the same unit. Automatically computing Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers, Shore and Leeb hardness values, this portable hardness tester maintains 2000 memory locations to keep an in-depth history of your tests. RS-232 output allows for connections to a pc or micro-printer to enable portability and flexibility of your data.
The interface allows this portable hardness tester the same functions as our other models, such as changing impact direction (so that accurate readings can be achieved at any angle), and statistical mean value output.
