QUICK SET-UP

Digital Twin Rockwell tester

(HRSS-150)

Loosen 4-nuts on bottom of crate. Lift the crate off of the platform being careful not to scratch side of tester.
Remove the tool kit from the platform.
Remove plastic dust cover
Remove string holding handles and top cover
Lift top cover straight up.
Remove rubber band holding indicator lever and discard
Remove back cover by removing 2-phillip head screws from top/bottom
Carefully remove strings that are holding the weight bar to the loading arm
Remove the weight bar from the loading arm by lifting the hook of the bar from the loop on the arm.
Remove the 2-nuts at the bottom of the bar.
Open test kit and remove the weights. Clean any oil/grease from weights.
Plug in and power up unit.
Set date & time. Press enter to save data entry
Select scale and press enter
Select weight using selector knob

Keypad Button	Function
PRT	Print command – must be a min. of 3 tests/ first test will not print.
DEL	Delete last test result
CLR	Clear display
TIME +	Pressure time (Rockwell = 10 seconds / Superficial = 5 seconds)
TIME -	Pressure time (Rockwell = 10 seconds / Superficial = 5 seconds)
LIGHT+	Increase light on test table
LIGHT-	Decrease light on test table

To show conversions to different scale, press up/down arrows. The different scales will be displayed in the center of the display. These will not print
Select weight and push enter to change scales.
